Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development. The successful candidate will assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons for students with SEN, provide one-to-one support and guidance, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting students with SEN in their learning and development
  2. Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons for students with SEN
  3. Providing one-to-one support and guidance to students with SEN
  4. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  5. Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure the best possible support for students
Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Experience working with students with SEN

Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions

Working hours may vary but typically follow the school day

Work may involve physical activity, such as assisting students with mobility

Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
