Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at one of our world-class hospitals in London. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of individualized care to high-risk patients, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing the needs of critically ill patients
- Collaborate with the ICU team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, identifying and addressing patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
- NMC Registration and ICU qualification
- At least 6 months NHS experience in the last 3 years
- Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Honesty and integrity, with a patient-centered approach
