Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at a leading hospital in London.
About the Role:
As a Senior Staff Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of specialist care to our patients, ensuring their physical, psychological, and spiritual needs are met. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver care that is safe, compassionate, and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and plan care for patients in the ICU, ensuring their needs are met and their care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, including medication management, wound care, and respiratory support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and effective.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Critical Care Units.
- Motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Practical and critical thinker.
- Completed Critical Care Course (60 Credits).
- Current ILS/ALS.
