Job Title: Executive Chef - Rural Pub with Accommodation

About the Role:
The Peaks & Dales Recruitment team is currently working with a popular food-led pub with rooms in the Ashbourne area, seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their successful kitchen team of 4. As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in assisting in the running of this busy kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented to perfection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating menus using seasonal local produce
  • Training of Brigade staff
  • Financial management of the kitchen
  • Hands-on role in running services

Requirements:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have:
  • A solid background in fresh food pub cuisine
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
