Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join a large format retail store and contribute to its ongoing development and success. We are looking for a skilled professional with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced retail environment.
As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with your team to develop a strong relationship and set high standards in the store. You will be responsible for managing a department and have the opportunity to create a well-merchandised store with high visual standards.
You will be responsible for all aspects of your department, including managing staff, maintaining high standards, and driving sales growth. You will also be responsible for recruitment, training, and development of your team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a department and lead a team of retail professionals
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage staff performance, provide coaching and development opportunities
- Maintain high standards of store appearance and merchandising
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a large format store
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
