Assistant Director of Banqueting Operations

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director of Banqueting Operations to join our team at The Landmark London Hotel. As a key member of our Banqueting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and quality in all aspects of banqueting operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the quality and quantity of staff is in accordance with company guidelines and standards.
  • To motivate and support the Floor managers by providing effective management and leadership to achieve high performance of all areas of the department.
  • To assist and support with the stock take process (twice a year) based on the published results to implement and review any of the procedures where necessary.
  • To ensure that there is a pre event/ during & post service contact for the organiser.
  • To form business relationships with other internal departments of the hotel (ie F&B, Stewarding team, Kitchen etc) to assist in your day to day tasks.

Requirements:

  • 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
  • Ability to motivate and support the team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
