We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Therapy team at Priory Hospital Southampton.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualized therapy plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions, working collaboratively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care and effective transition back to the community.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them understand and manage their conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- A degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Previous experience in mental health settings, preferable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate patients.
- A proactive approach to continuous professional development and willingness to participate in supervision and training.
