Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at HCRG Ltd. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex disabilities and their families.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate of £35.00-£36.00. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the legislative framework within which Social Care Occupational Therapists work and will be able to manage a demanding and complex caseload to agreed deadlines and timescales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, recommend, and provide, where appropriate, specialised children's equipment and give guidance to clients and their carers in its use.
  • Manage a caseload of children with complex disabilities, providing support and guidance to families and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in other sectors, health services, and private and voluntary organisations to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills to ensure the highest standards of practice.
  • Contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the service.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of the College of Occupational Therapists or BSc Occupational Therapy or any qualifications recognised by WFOT.
  • Registration with Health and Care Professions Council.
  • At least 18 months post-qualification experience of working as an Occupational Therapist in a Social Care or Health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently in a community setting and as part of a team.
