Assistant Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team at Agility Resourcing. As a key member of our finance department, you will work closely with the Financial Controller to manage the day-to-day activities of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end process, including preparing monthly management accounts and conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, as well as managing the transactional finance team.
  • Support the annual audit and stock count, monthly payroll, quarterly VAT returns, and ONS reporting.

The ideal candidate will be an ACCA/CIMA newly qualified or finalist with experience in a varied accounting role in an SME business. You must have experience working with stock and excellent Excel skills.
