About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Advocate to join our team at Dosh. As a Financial Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with a learning disability to manage their finances and make informed decisions about their money.



Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an appointee and financial advocate for individuals with a learning disability
  • Support individuals to manage their finances, including benefit claims and budgeting
  • Help individuals to make informed choices and express their views on financial matters
  • Travel regularly to visit individuals in their homes and communities
  • Work collaboratively with the administrative and finance teams to ensure seamless support


Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of financial services or the benefits system
  • Commitment to improving the lives of adults with a learning disability
  • Flexible, innovative, and person-centred approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
