New Copford Place is a purpose-built residential care home in the picturesque Essex village of Copford, near Colchester. Our team is committed to delivering high standards of person-centred care, ensuring the health and safety of all residents is effectively assessed and implemented.

We are seeking a Care Management Specialist to join our team, working alongside the Registered Manager to assist with the management of the home. This is an incredibly varied position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care using our electronic care planning system.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication links with the Registered Manager, support team, and external professionals.
  • Implement correct reporting procedures for accidents, incidents, and safeguarding concerns.

About You:

We require a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care, with proven experience in a care home environment. A strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult safeguarding is essential for this role. You will be responsible for producing rotas for the team, organising staff training, and championing staff development.

Safeguarding:

We prioritise keeping everyone safe at Friends of the Elderly. All staff follow our Safeguarding Policy & Procedures, and if they suspect abuse, we expect them to report it immediately.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Location: New Copford Place, Essex.
