Your new role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare Team. You will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects in London and South East England, with opportunities to support healthcare projects throughout the UK and globally.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring scope, contracts, programmes, change management, risk registers, budgets, and QA procedures are in place and maintained.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of our UK Healthcare Team.
  • Manage the design process through design workshops and lead project meetings.
  • Oversee the management of multi-disciplinary engineering advisory and design solutions by Ramboll's in-house teams and specialist sub-consultants.
  • Inspire and enthuse engineers and technicians on your projects.
  • Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings.
  • Manage sub-consultants as required, including Quantity Surveyors, Architects, and specialist designers.
  • Implement best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day management of all project activity, including monthly reports, minutes, MS Project programmes, and delivery of presentations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience with UK Healthcare sector projects, such as the building of hospitals within the UK.
  • Thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Experience of managing commercial processes on projects.
  • Understanding of project commercial and technical risks, procurement methods, and contract administration requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts in plain language, verbally and in writing.
  • Able to interrogate financial information and write high-quality reports.
  • Able to manage stakeholder requirements and communicate them back to project teams, both in the UK and across geographical borders.
