Senior Elective Care Productivity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Elective Care Programmes. This is a hybrid role that requires the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues nationally and regionally to lead on the GIRFT elective care productivity and efficiency programme for the region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a dynamic team to support East of England ICBs and Providers with recovery of their elective care services in line with the National Elective Care Recovery Strategy and ambitions of the Long Term Plan.
- Develop and implement improvement approaches and methodologies to drive elective care productivity and efficiency.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders regionally, within ICBs, providers, and with the relevant national teams.
- Provide expertise relating to improvement approaches and methodologies, and provide hospital on-site support for GIRFT visits.
- Experience of leading and delivering complex change programmes.
- Significant leadership experience within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Knowledge of GIRFT methodology and elective care productivity.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the use of improvement methodologies.
- High level analytical skills and the ability to draw qualitative and quantitative data from a wide range of sources and present in a clear concise manner.
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to communicate on highly complex matters and difficult situations.
