About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant to join our care team at We Care Group. As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity, independence, and well-being are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Health Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
  • Administer medication to residents as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social events, promoting a warm and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment, reporting any concerns or incidents to senior staff.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure their unique needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the care home, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Contribute to the development of the care team, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the quality of care provided.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a Senior Health Care Assistant or equivalent role.
  • NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
