Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Health Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
- Administer medication to residents as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social events, promoting a warm and welcoming environment for residents.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment, reporting any concerns or incidents to senior staff.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure their unique needs are met.
- Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the care home, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Contribute to the development of the care team, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the quality of care provided.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Senior Health Care Assistant or equivalent role.
- NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
