Revenues and Benefits Control Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Revenues and Benefits Control Manager to join our team at Teqniq Ltd. As a key member of our Revenues and Benefits Systems Support Team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to colleagues across the Revenues and Benefits service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the team to ensure all staff carry out their duties and responsibilities as defined by their job description.
- Update the Business Rates Support & Development Manager on all system-related issues pertaining to Housing Benefit, Council Tax, and Business Rates performance on a regular basis.
- Manage the Revenues and Benefits year-end reconciliation and annual billing process as directed.
- Take action, respond to, and provide technical advice on user enquiries, including complex enquiries.
- Manage all third-party contract relationships and ensure rigorous monitoring of third-party contract performance.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of all legislation relevant to the accurate administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax, and Business Rates.
- Excellent knowledge of Housing Benefit subsidy.
- Excellent organisational skills with a good attention to detail.
- A detailed understanding of a customer-focused approach to assist with system faults and queries from users.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the use of MS Office 365 applications.
- Effective team working and collaboration with colleagues.
- Effective communication skills and an ability to explain information to a wide variety of audiences.
- Demonstrating good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Innovative thinking with the ability to generate new ideas and contribute to service improvements.
