Job Description

We are looking for a talented Environmental Compliance Lead to join our team in Luxembourg, London, Munich, Berlin, or Gdansk. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and launching new EPR programs to respond to legal requirements in the EU.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn environmental regulations, particularly with respect to Extended Producer Responsibility regulations, demonstrated success in program management, and experience leading complex and technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new EPR programs to meet legal requirements in the EU.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, recyclers, and consultants.
  • Identify and prioritize regulatory requirements, define business requirements, and develop SOPs.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop new mechanisms that enable the program team to move faster and more effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
  • Proven track record in managing complex compliance programs
  • Experience handling confidential information

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
