About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals and experts in the field of aviation security. Based at Heathrow Airport, you will be part of a specialist team working for a flag carrier airline.

Job Opportunity

You will have the chance to make a significant impact as a Security Specialist:

  • Working closely with colleagues on a 24/7 shift rota, ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and aircraft.
  • Conducting thorough checks and searches of passengers, baggage, vehicles, and airport employees.
  • Interviewing customers to evaluate travel information and assess potential security risks.

Shifts may include early/late starts, nights, and double shifts, depending on operational needs.

Additional Information
  • Successful candidates will attend a mandatory 3.5-week training course in Israel, providing in-depth knowledge and skills to operate as a Specialist Aviation Security Agent.
  • Salary: £12.90-£14.59 per hour (basic training) rising to £14.59 after completion of initial training.
  • Opportunities for further training and career development are available.
  • A minimum requirement of 163 hours per month, with opportunities for overtime if available.
  • A monthly travel & meal allowance will be provided, as well as enhanced pension and medical insurance.
  • Bank holidays paid at double time, and overtime paid at time and a half.
  • A uniform will be provided.
Essential Skills
  • A full 5-year checkable employment and education history.
  • A valid passport permitting entry into Israel.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen and provide clear instructions.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to deal effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated integrity when dealing with sensitive situations.
  • The ability to follow instructions, procedures, and workflows in a disciplined environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and act independently when required.
  • A positive and flexible attitude towards all aspects of work.
  • A professional approach.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Local to London Heathrow Airport.
  • Hebrew is not required but is an advantage.
