About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Advanced Cancer Pharmacist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a clinical specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to adult oncology and haematology patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of clinical pharmacy services and medicines optimisation in oncology and haematology
  • Support and deputise for the Consultant Pharmacists and Highly Advanced Pharmacist/Divisional Lead Pharmacist as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain highly specialist knowledge in medicines used and clinical advances within the specialty
  • Act as a role model for pharmacy and the wider MDT in the specialty
  • Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and contribute to the development of high-quality pharmaceutical care

Requirements

  • First degree in Pharmacy (Masters) or equivalent
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Post-graduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Formal postgraduate training in Cancer
  • Experience as a clinical tutor for Cardiff or other diploma
  • Membership of regional/national/international specialist interest group
