About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Advanced Cancer Pharmacist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Cancer Pharmacy Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to adult oncology and haematology patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of clinical pharmacy services and medicines optimisation in oncology and haematology.
  • Support and deputise for Consultant Pharmacists and Highly Advanced Pharmacist/Divisional Lead Pharmacist as required.
  • Develop and maintain highly specialist knowledge in medicines used and clinical advances within the specialty.
  • Act as a role model for pharmacy and the wider multidisciplinary team in the specialty.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and contribute to the development of high-quality pharmaceutical care.
  • Provide training and education to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • First degree in Pharmacy (Masters) or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Post-graduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Formal postgraduate training in Cancer.
  • Experience as a clinical tutor for Cardiff or other diploma.
  • Membership of regional/national/international specialist interest group.
