Job Description

As a Sub-Ducting Technician, you will play a vital role in our fibre network build projects. You'll be responsible for installing and maintaining sub-duct cabling systems, ensuring the efficient and accurate deployment of fibre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install sub-duct cabling systems according to project specifications and industry standards, prioritizing precision and quality in all installations.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the most effective routing for sub-duct cabling, taking into account site conditions and project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Maintain clear communication and coordination throughout the process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or faults in sub-duct cabling systems, minimizing disruption and upholding high service delivery standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or fibre network installation is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid NRSWA Card, SA002 Underground Safety, and CSCS certification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in sub-duct cabling installation.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
