Location: Glasgow
Hours: 4 day week Monday-Thursday / 37 hours per week
We are seeking skilled Test Technicians to join our Optronics and Missile Electronics (OME) team at Thales Group. Our Test Technicians perform in-depth testing and fault diagnoses of mechanical assemblies.
The roles are based out of our Glasgow manufacturing site. You will work a 4 day week Monday to Thursday and work 9 hours per day. Start time is flexible between 6:00am and 7:30am and you get 30 minutes unpaid break. There is also free on-site parking and an on-site canteen.
- Perform complex Manufacturing operations in accordance with the associated documentation provided to the quality standards expected in a timely and professional manner.
- Test, diagnose and repair various electronic systems and sub-assemblies to component level.
- Support continuous improvement actions being worked on within the industry.
- Manage and record build configuration of product.
- Experience working in a production test department.
- An electrical/electronic qualification would be advantageous.
- Ability to Identify and carry out actions required with minimal supervision.
- PC literate in the use of Microsoft Office Tool set.
