Workshop Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the workshop, leading a team of technicians, and maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

* Schedule and coordinate fleet vehicle maintenance, including PMIs and MOTs, as well as addressing any defects that arise
* Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
* Order parts and compare prices to ensure cost-effectiveness
* Liaise with the daily coach operations team and management as necessary
* Supervise and support workshop staff to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties

Requirements

* Previous experience in workshop management, preferably in the PCV/HGV sector
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
* Computer literacy and administrative skills
* Full and valid driving license

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:00, with a one-hour lunch break
* Possible Saturday morning shifts as required
* 28 days holiday, including bank holidays, and a company pension scheme
