About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales. This is a full-time substantive post offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in various aspects of work including outpatient clinics, labour ward, and gynaecology operating theatre lists.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of work including outpatient clinic sessions in obstetrics and gynaecology, labour ward, and gynaecology operating theatre lists.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Registration with the GMC's specialist register or eligibility for registration within six months of interview date.
  • Appropriate experience in training grade posts at SpR/SR/STR leading to accreditation for CCT, CESR, or recognised equivalent.

Working Conditions and Salary

This is a substantive post with a competitive salary range of approximately £90,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive comprehensive benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and continuing professional development opportunities.
