Financial Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to the management team, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity and minimizing financial risk.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong technical skills, including financial modeling, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
