Financial Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the management team, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Manage the financial planning and analysis function, including the preparation of financial models and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting legislation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or studying towards full qualification.
