Your Role

As a Midwife at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive maternity care to our patients. You will work in our modern and well-equipped facilities, including a main Consultant Unit and a Midwife-led unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to pregnant women and new mothers
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have completed a preceptorship programme and achieved midwifery competencies. You will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Salary

The salary for this position is approximately £32,000 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience.
