Financial Controller Opportunity

De Vere Latimer Estate is seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the maximization of revenue and minimization of costs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality finance, with experience in forecasting revenue, costs, and profitability. You will be responsible for producing accurate reports, including P&L accounts, budget packs, and attending monthly board review meetings.

You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure efficient control systems are in place for forecasting and controlling expenditure, including payroll and gross margins. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach to problem-solving will be essential in this role.

The successful candidate will have a relevant financial qualification, proficiency in using financial management software, and intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and develop junior members of the team.
