Job Title: Consultant Paediatrician with Epilepsy and Neurodisability Expertise
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in Epilepsy and Neurodisability and will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients.
Main Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical services to patients with Epilepsy and Neurodisability
- Work collaboratively with the acute General Paediatric team to deliver routine day-to-day acute paediatric services
- Share on-call responsibilities with the General Paediatric team
- Attend Consultant on a 1 in 5 week basis on the General Paediatric ward
- Contribute to the strategic planning of services with local partners
- Hold a medical qualification or qualification registered with the GMC
- Entry onto the Specialist Register for GMC in Paediatrics or be within six months of obtaining CCT
- MRCPCH or equivalent
- APLS and NLS provider
- MD or equivalent higher degree or evidence of relevant research
- APLS instructor
- Evidence of further training and experience in Childhood Epilepsy
