Locum Consultant General Paediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our paediatric services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical services to patients, including acute general paediatrics and special interest in epilepsy with neurodisability.
- Contribute to the full range of skills required for the on-call rota for the specialty.
- Participate in clinical governance arrangements, including clinical audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and educate junior doctors, including undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.
- Contribute to the development of educational activities and training programs for junior doctors.
- Hold a medical qualification or qualification registered with the GMC.
- Entry onto the Specialist Register for GMC in paediatrics or be within six months of obtaining CCT.
- MRCPCH or equivalent.
- APLS and NLS provider.
- MD or equivalent higher degree or evidence of relevant research.
- APLS instructor.
- Evidence of further training and experience in childhood epilepsy.
- SPIN in Paediatric Epilepsy.
