Job Title: Home Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Manager to lead an exceptional nursing home in the Northwich, Cheshire area. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider, responsible for managing a team of skilled care professionals who deliver person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality care.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
  • Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
  • Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
  • Have oversight of all records to ensure the home's administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in home management and the ability to demonstrate drive and commitment to maintain and improve efficiency across the service.
  • Knowledge of elderly and dementia care.
  • Good understanding of CQC and regulations with the ability to maintain a high-quality level of care and service within the home.
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
  • Good commercial awareness, as you will have responsibility for the home's budget and ensuring its financial viability.
