This nursing home provides a range of care services, including nursing care, dementia care, residential care, respite, and short stay care, as well as end-of-life care. As the Home Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals who are committed to delivering person-centred care.
- Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
- Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
- Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
- Have oversight of all records to ensure the home's administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring the home is a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £60,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week from 9am to 5pm. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive a range of benefits, including:
