Job Title: Expert Nursing Home Leader

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Expert Nursing Home Leader to oversee the daily operations of our exceptional nursing home in Northwich, Cheshire. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in home management, with a strong understanding of elderly and dementia care, as well as CQC regulations. They will be able to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care.

The Home Manager will have responsibility for managing the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed. They will also develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.

The Home Manager will be a key figure in building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and maintains excellent standards of care and support
  • Manage the home's budget and develop a marketing plan
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in home management
  • Knowledge of elderly and dementia care
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs
