Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Trainer and Curriculum Developer to join our team at Pearson. This role involves delivering full-day and online qualification-based courses internationally, with a focus on staying up-to-date with education sector changes and subject area developments.

About the Role

This position requires a strong background in teaching and experience in delivering effective training to adult delegates. You will work closely with internal support teams to improve professional development course materials and undertake international travel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing your time and travel arrangements effectively, ensuring that objectives are met within the training session.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-event Preparation: Attend in-house briefings, training sessions, and practice with resources to ensure confidence and competence in delivering courses.
• Delivery: Present engaging and relevant content, deal with customer queries professionally, and manage own time and travel arrangements.
• Feedback: Complete and submit summary feedback forms after each session delivered and maintain delegate feedback within expectations.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with experience in teaching a Pearson Edexcel International Specification, strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You should have a high level of subject knowledge, be confident using laptops and Microsoft PowerPoint, and possess a positive attitude towards all forms of feedback.
