About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate IDVA Support Worker to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with service users to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Liaise with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support and guidance.
  • Conduct home visits and community outreach to engage with new referrals and existing case loads.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various professions to provide a holistic approach to care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with victims of domestic abuse or relevant transferable skills.
  • Desirable experience in mental health, domestic violence, and substance abuse support.
  • IDVA qualification or willingness to obtain.
