Senior Management Accountant Position

Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's financial systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
- Assist in ensuring control and compliance of all accounting and finance procedures within the business.
- Oversee the sales invoicing process to ensure billing is done accurately and in a timely manner.
- Preparation and completion of group VAT returns and other ad-hoc HMRC returns.
- Ensure all payment runs are correctly prepared and bank ID facilities are correctly administered.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Liaise with the auditors to ensure an efficient and effective audit process.
- Work with the financial controller and finance director to evaluate systems and processes and look to implement new technology to streamline processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in producing monthly management accounts and presenting to senior management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is preferred.
- Understanding of reporting tools and their importance in providing real-time data to the wider business.
