Company Overview:
Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our client, a prestigious and niche transport company based in Middlewich. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the company's financial systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business growth and decision-making.
- Financial Management: Oversee the sales invoicing process, ensure billing is accurate and timely, and manage payment runs.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and complete group VAT returns and other ad-hoc HMRC returns, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Financial Systems: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company objectives, and work with the financial controller and finance director to evaluate systems and processes.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in producing monthly management accounts and presenting to senior management.
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on providing strategic recommendations.
- Financial Software and Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on using technology to streamline processes.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with stakeholders.
What We Offer:
