We are seeking an experienced Commercial Data Coordinator to join our Buying team at Hobbycraft. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy across the business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Validate and upload new product information into our database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as the gatekeeper of product information, creating, importing, and maintaining data throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate and implement promotional data activity, ensuring promotions are accurate and meet agreed standards.
- Support the Buyers in managing product categories, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating cost price and retail price changes on the system.
- Provide accurate data for waste packaging and WEEE returns.
- Support the Quality Control Manager with testing and data safety sheets.
- Assist the Finance team with invoice queries and data setup for new store openings.
- Act as a User Acceptance Tester for database developments.
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Services, and Distribution Centre to resolve queries and issues.
- Attend cross-functional meetings and take notes and actions.
About You:
- Intermediate Excel skills, including a good understanding of V lookup functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Able to adapt to fast-changing priorities and show flexibility in attitude towards tasks.
- Able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and develop collaborative relationships.
- Able to identify issues and resolutions proactively.
