About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Research & Development Directorate team as a Clinical Trials Data Coordinator for University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of clinical trials data management, playing a key role in the organization, coordination, and execution of all aspects of clinical research data management and administration.
This includes maintaining site files, accurately entering data into case report forms and IT-based systems, and working collaboratively with patients, research teams, hospital departments, other NHS Trusts, commercial, and academic partners.
Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, and organize workload are essential skills for this post.
Main Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver hosted studies to ICH GCP standards.
- Maintain site files and accurately enter data into case report forms and IT-based systems.
- Work across the research portfolio under the supervision of our clinical trials team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Literate and Numerate
- Current certificate of Good Clinical Practice or aim to obtain within one month of taking up the role
Experience
- Experience in the collection and collation of clinical data
Technical Skills Competencies
- Basic computer literacy
- Familiarity with a variety of web-based platforms
Knowledge
- Insight into Health Service and Trust procedures, policies, jargon, and organization
Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
