Exciting Opportunity for a Long-Term Supply LSA/Teaching Assistant in KS2

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA)/Teaching Assistant for a long-term supply position in KS2 at a vibrant two-form entry school located in a desirable area.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to help children develop the skills they need to learn independently and confidently. You will contribute to creating a welcoming and safe space that encourages student participation and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a KS2 setting
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Develop strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
Requirements
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant, preferably within a KS2 setting
  • Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use initiative to support learning and development
