Humanitarian Standards Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Humanitarian Standards Coordinator to join our team in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring the highest standards in humanitarian work.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and embedding the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) across all our operations. They will work closely with our global teams and partners to ensure that our policies and procedures align with the CHS principles.
In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening our accountability and quality mechanisms within communities and across programme activities. You will also develop and deliver training workshops to increase understanding of the updated CHS amongst our teams and partners.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in humanitarian or development settings, with a focus on quality, accountability, and standards. You should have extensive knowledge and understanding of the CHS and experience of applying it, as well as other humanitarian quality and accountability frameworks.
The ideal candidate will be a strong project manager, able to steer work from start to finish, and an experienced communicator, able to converse with multiple teams and at different levels. They will also be proficient in data collection, monitoring, and evaluation, and competent in IT applications.
This is a rewarding role for an experienced professional looking to make a difference in the charity sector. The salary for this position is £31,025 per annum, depending on experience.
