Job Title: Compliance Data Analyst

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Compliance Data Analyst. As a key member of our InfoSec People Ltd team, you'll play a crucial role in driving cybersecurity initiatives and ensuring compliance with data standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist advice on projects and business change activities to ensure alignment to data standards.
  • Be a key stakeholder in the ongoing development of the UK&I Data Standards, ensuring alignment to global and regional policy and evolving changes in the regulatory and legislative landscape.
  • Contribute to the adoption of the Data Standards by business stakeholders and influence the maturity and accountability of compliance to the Data Standards across the UK&I business.
  • Analyse identified processing and control activities at a thematic level and work with the Risk & Governance teams to develop remediation plans and monitor progress.
  • Create and maintain the Controls and Monitoring Assurance plan with clear metrics to demonstrate progress and drive required outcomes.
  • Own and create the governance record keeping improvement plan and deploy enhanced operational controls through changes to Data360 with supporting education and communication.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of data management best-practice, including data governance, data security, data quality, and data loss prevention.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of policy frameworks and business process management.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices, audit, process, control management, and monitoring best practice.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation pertaining to data, such as Data Protection legislation.
  • Experience of making sound and far-reaching decisions on major issues, taking responsibility for them and implementing within the business.
