Job Title: Compliance Data Analyst

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Compliance Data Analyst. As a key member of our InfoSec People Ltd team, you'll play a crucial role in driving cybersecurity initiatives and ensuring our data standards are aligned with global and regional policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist advice on projects and business change activities to ensure alignment to the Data Standards
  • Be a key stakeholder in the ongoing development of the UK&I Data Standards, ensuring alignment to global and regional policy and evolving changes in the regulatory and legislative landscape
  • Contribute to the ongoing adoption of the Data Standards by business stakeholders and influence the maturity and accountability of compliance to the Data Standards across the width of the UK&I business
  • Analyse identified processing and control activities at a thematic level and work with the Risk & Governance teams to develop remediation plans and help monitor these through to closure
  • Create and maintain the Controls and Monitoring Assurance plan with clear MI to demonstrate progress, trends, and to drive required outcomes
  • Own and create the governance record keeping improvement plan and the deployment of enhanced operational controls, through changes to Data360 with supporting education and communication
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of data management best-practice, including data governance, data security, data quality, security, and data loss prevention (DLP)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of policy frameworks and business process management
  • Knowledge of risk management practices, audit, process, control management, and monitoring best practice
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation pertaining to Data – e.g., Data Protection legislation
  • Experience of making sound and far-reaching decisions on major issues, taking responsibility for them and implementing within the business whether in a technical, managerial, advisory or specialist role
