Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Key Account Strategy Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading our top retail account, managing high-level relationships, and driving growth with one of the Top 4 UK retailers.

Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in leading commercial strategies and driving growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze P&L and develop data-driven action plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including commercial, supply chain, and NPD functions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Commercial Strategy: Define and drive a commercial strategy that aligns cross-functional teams on achieving ambitious growth and profitability targets.
  2. Manage Relationships: Be the main point of contact with the retailer, ensuring seamless communication across commercial, supply chain, and NPD functions.
  3. Oversee Category Performance: Utilize Category Management principles to identify trends, enhance category value, and create win-win solutions.
  4. Analyze & Act: Regularly review P&L, identify key performance drivers, and develop data-driven action plans to address challenges and seize opportunities.
  5. Collaborate on New Product Development (NPD): Work closely with NPD teams to launch innovative, consumer-focused products that align with retailer goals.
  6. Manage & Develop a Team: Lead and mentor a Commercial Executive within the account.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years with major UK retailers (Senior NAM, Senior Buyer or higher)
  2. Experience in Own Label and Branded products
  3. Analytical, proactive, and a relationship builder with financial savvy

Salary:

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
