Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional SEN/SEND Manager/Lead to join our team. As the SEN/SEND Manager/Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the SEN/SEND provision, working closely with staff, students, and families to create an environment where all learners can achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the school's SEN/SEND strategy and policy.
  • Manage and coordinate the support for students with SEN/SEND, including Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to teaching staff to ensure high-quality, inclusive teaching practices.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, external agencies, and local authorities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN/SEND provision and interventions.
  • Lead and develop the SEN/SEND team, ensuring ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in SEN/SEND or education (e.g., NASENCO or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a SEN/SEND provision.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN/SEND legislation, including the SEN/SEND Code of Practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated at £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
