Role Overview
At National Skills Agency, we are seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to contribute to the educational development of our learners. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate individuals to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in teaching, with a proven track record of delivering effective lessons that promote academic and personal growth. They will also be responsible for creating personalized learning plans, assessing progress, and providing constructive feedback to guide learners towards their development goals.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Delivering engaging and tailored lessons to meet the needs and interests of learners.
  • Tailoring both accredited and non-accredited programs to equip learners with essential skills and knowledge.
  • Developing and implementing individualized learning plans that foster academic and personal growth.
Required Qualifications and Experience include:
  • A minimum Level 2 in Maths and English (GCSE grades 9 to 4, A* to C, or equivalent).
  • A qualification in the specialist subject area of Functional Skills.
  • A proven track record of effective teaching within the subject specialism.
  • A Level 5 teaching qualification or equivalent.
