Job Description:

  • Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team in Bere Alston, Devonshire. The successful candidate will work closely with other therapists and professionals providing support to students.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver individual student plans and therapy programs for young people aged 7-19.
  2. Support the education team in carrying out activities with students, such as cooking and basic life skills.
  3. Collaborate with the Speech and Language Therapist and school counsellor to provide comprehensive support to students.
  4. Network with OTs in our Somerset provisions and work closely with the OT based at Tor View School in Tavistock.

Required Skills and Qualifications: You will be a fully-qualified Occupational Therapy Practitioner, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and hold a BSc Occupational Therapy or profession-specific equivalent qualification.
