Role Overview

This is a 2-year fixed term contract as a Career Development Specialist with Id Product. The salary for this position is £23,000 per annum, and the working hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am-5pm with a 1-hour break for lunch.

Key Responsibilities

As a Career Development Specialist, you will develop job coaching and employability support plans with clients. You will deliver 10-week rolling programmes of employability workshops to develop skills including confidence and motivation, CV writing, interview techniques, skill checks, digital skills, and job search. Additionally, you will provide mentoring and coaching in effective job search techniques, engage with participants through creative approaches, and ensure all Key Performance Indicators are achieved. You will also organize work placement experience by matching the skills of women with businesses, charities, and other agencies, and work closely with external organizations to achieve referrals onto the programme. Basic skills in Microsoft Office are required, and an Enhanced Child and Adult workforce DBS on the update service is necessary.
