Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being.
  • Understand and promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
  • Identify the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
  • Plan and submit a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview to the Home Manager.
  • Arrange activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
  • Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting.
  • Experience organizing activities and events.
