Job Summary

The HCRG Care Group is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiversity Inclusion Facilitator to join our team. This is a fixed-term position until March 2025, based in Essex, with flexibility to meet the needs of Children and Young People.

Main Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Partnerships for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) project, aimed at enhancing outcomes for neurodiverse students in mainstream primary schools.
  • Collaborate with education, health specialists, and parent carers to assess and shape whole school SEND provision.
  • Develop schools' confidence and expertise in supporting neurodiversity within classrooms through consultation and practical assistance.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve the school environment to better accommodate neurodiverse students' needs and enhance their engagement in learning.
  • Foster an inclusive culture within schools that amplifies the efficacy of other interventions and promotes the well-being of all students.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree, or evidence of working at degree level, and experience working with neurodiverse students in educational settings. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including school staff, health specialists, and parent carers.

What We Offer

The successful candidate will undergo relevant training and induction processes upon appointment. Travel within the region may be required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role, and a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.
