Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Property Inspection Manager to provide a high-quality inspection service to our clients. The successful candidate will carry out building inspections, produce detailed reports, and identify tenant compliance and wants of repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a proactive and strategic inspection service to clients.
  • Carry out building inspections and produce detailed reports.
  • Build relationships with tenants to understand their business needs and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and statutory legislation.
  • Work with Property and Building Managers to follow up on inspection findings.
General Responsibilities
  • Inspect single let properties and tenanted areas of multi-let properties.
  • Inspect common parts of multi-let properties.
  • Manage own diary and complete property inspections within set timescales.
  • Plan and organise inspections into geographically efficient areas.
  • Make contact with tenants to arrange inspections.
  • Prepare inspection reports and upload them into the inspection database.
  • Manage and update central inspection schedules.
  • Liaise with Property and Building Managers regarding inspection findings.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate (desirable).
Key Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience of the property industry.
  • Knowledge of property construction and the ability to identify repair.
  • Strong IT skills, especially Excel.
